It was announced this month that now, all members of Teamsters Local 938 will have access to the union’s SAV-RX pharmacy located at the union hall in Mississauga.
Prior to this announcement, only members who were covered by a Teamsters plan were able to access the benefits of the Teamsters operated pharmacy. Now any member who has a drug card and can let the pharmacist know who their carrier is, can order prescription drugs from the wide variety of generic drug products available at the pharmacy without having to cover copay or dispensing fees.
Those members who wish to order name brand drugs will be required to cover copay fees and may use either debit, Visa or Mastercard for payment.
